Last week on his podcast, Ric Flair praised Toni Storm and applauded where she was going with her character. Unfortunately, a few hours later, the news of her release broke out, and no one knew why she asked to leave the company.

Before Toni left, she was feuding with Charlotte for the SmackDown women’s title. Storm asked for her release when she was about to get her big shot at the title.

While many believe it’s due to Charlotte Flair supposedly ‘burying’ her or the lousy booking, the Nature Boy has heard something completely different on Storm’s release.

While speaking on the Wooooo Nation Uncensored show, the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair talked about Toni Storm quitting the company. He said he was shocked when he heard the news.

However, after speaking to many inside sources at WWE, Flair revealed that Toni quit due to extreme exhaustion.

“From what I have heard – because I am capable of reaching out to different people – she was exhausted. It is an unbelievable and grueling pace,” Ric said.

“It is something that very few people can run that hard for a long time. And she had got into that mix. She was in long, really competitive matches, not just on TV, but on the road as well.”

Ric’s sources are rock solid, so we might as well take this as a confirmation as to why she left WWE. Fans will miss Storm and are hoping she makes a return to pro-wrestling soon.

Ric Flair fires shots at Becky Lynch.

On Day 1, Becky defended her RAW women’s championship against Liv Morgan and successfully retained it. After her match, she posed with the multi-platinum recording artists Migos and posted that picture on Twitter.

She captioned it,Next song is “Big Time Drip” @Migos #WWEDay1, which was a reference to Migos’ member Offset’s song, ‘Ric Flair Drip.’ It was released in 2017 and blew up everywhere.

Ric Flair did not take lightly to what Becky said. In a now-deleted tweet, Flair said, “She’s Big Time, But There’s No Drip, And There Never Will Be. I Thought She Was THE MAN, But I Guess Not Because They Don’t Own It! HA! When Are You Going To Give Up @BeckyLynchWWE?”

What Natch meant by ‘not own it,’ he referenced it to the legal battle between him and WWE for the nickname ‘The Man.’ He has often said that Becky stole the nickname from him.

Whether there’s any truth to the sentence or not, it does justify why Becky dropped ‘The Man’ gimmick. She has stopped using it anymore and switched it for Big Time Becks.
