Ric Flair retired from WWE a long time ago. Yet, he didn’t have his final match until much later in the middle of 2022. And now, Flair is back again, signing with WWE’s competitor. A deal that started as a business promotion for Flair’s energy drink might see him getting back into the ring again.

A recent update on social media via the “Nature Boy” suggests that he is not going to rest at home without trying a few slams on the current active generation of wrestlers. While this subtle hint may be exciting for some fans, it could be worrying for others.

After Flair signed with AEW and started teasing about the same over the internet, several fans were worried that he would want to get involved in some in-ring action. However, things took a turn when Ric Flair confirmed that despite his interest in wrestling again, fans wouldn’t see him act on this desire. Now, the situation seems to have flipped completely.

A few hours ago, the 16-time WWE Champion took to Instagram to upload of himself standing in a training ring, leaning on the ropes of the squared circle. From the looks of it, the picture suggests that it is recent rather than old.

Under the picture, the former wrestler wrote the caption, “The Word Impossible Is Not In My Dictionary! WOOOOO!

While this doesn’t confirm anything, the caption along with the picture, combined with the circumstances that Flair is currently signed to a wrestling promotion, everything makes it much more believable that the former wrestler may be returning to the ring, more than one year after his final wrestling match.

For some fans, this update might be a little concerning because of the health complications that Flair has found himself in since 2017 onward.

Ric Flair escaped death twice

As 2017 approached, Ric Flair had already developed an unhealthy drinking habit due to which he faced several health complications. In the year 2017, he was taken to the hospital because of an upset stomach, but his drinking habits caught up with him. As a result, fans witnessed from afar as the wrestling legend went into a coma.
