Ric Flair on The Undertaker Facing No Repercussions for His Controversial Stance: “He Can Get Away With Saying That, I Can’t”

The Undertaker is one of the most respected wrestlers of all time both in WWE and around the industry. His illustrious career of 30+ years speaks for itself and is one of the reasons why everyone looks at The Phenom with the utmost respect.

The Undertaker has always been particular about preserving kayfabe and hence did not do many interviews during his career. However, since 2019, The Deadman started appearing in interviews without being in character. People got to see a different side of him and his views over the current product. Some people appreciated his views, while some were not very fond of them.

Recently, Ric Flair on his podcast Woooo Nation Uncensored talked about one opinion of The Phenom. The Undertaker once in an interview talked about how the current superstars have become soft.

The Undertaker stated this in one of his initial interviews after announcing his retirement. He was in an interview with legendary UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

Ric Flair shared his views about The Phenom’s opinion, “I have only heard him talking a couple of times. I know he was at Joe Rogan, where I guess he said that guys today were soft. He can get away with saying that I can’t”

The Nature Boy claimed The Deadman will get a pass for saying something like that while he would not.

Ric Flair’s view on why The Undertaker thinks the current product is soft

The Undertaker and Ric Flair crossed paths during Flair’s time in WWE in 1992. Ric Flair shared his view on why Taker thinks the current product is soft.

He said, “No I don’t know. It’s just first of all nobody’s soft in our business at a different time does that makes sense. Mark has been where I have been. You know 50 bucks a night, 3,000 miles a week and not to mention the other hardships that go along with it.”

All the pro-wrestler sacrifice many things in their personal life to be on the road. The Undertaker has seen those days and also sacrificed a lot of things in his personal life. The major sacrifice is missing his older son’s entire childhood.
