Ric Flair has had an incredible career in professional wrestling. Not only did he claim many championships, but he also fought many top wrestling stars. One of them was The Ultimate Warrior. The Ultimate Warrior is another name that the WWE Universe will surely remember. The two great wrestlers even crossed paths inside the squared circle.

During the recent episode of The Ric Flair Wooooo Nation Uncensored Podcast, Mark Madden mentioned that Ric Flair had said in an interview that Flair had his worst matches with The Ultimate Warrior. He asked Flair the reason behind it and also asked how often they wrestled. In reply, Flair said, “We wrestled twice, maybe three times. Why? We just didn’t have any chemistry.”

He added, “We were in Winnipeg, Canada and I wrestled The Warrior. We come back and Pat Patterson said, ‘I have to tell you that’s the worst championship match I have ever seen’. I said, ‘Pat, you don’t have to tell me. I was in it’. Because he sent me over a three-page letter to memorize and I don’t do that.” Flair further mentioned that the match stunk, but he neither blames The Ultimate Warrior nor he blames himself. He claimed it just didn’t work.

Ric Flair praised The Ultimate Warrior’s match against Hulk Hogan

Later on in the episode, Ric Flair talked about The Ultimate Warrior’s match against Hulk Hogan in Toronto at WrestleMania VI. On that day, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan to win the WWF Championship.

Flair revealed that there is still talk about that match in Toronto. “The Nature Boy” admitted even though he did not see the match, he heard that the match was phenomenal.

Seth Rollins also praised the match between The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI

WWE Raw superstar, Seth Rollins, recently had an interview with Josh Martinez. During the interview, Rollins got asked that which match made him stuck to wrestling.

The former WWE Champion revealed that the match between Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI was probably the match that got him stuck to wrestling. Indeed, it was a great battle between two great wrestlers.
