Ric Flair is the absolute GOAT in the professional wrestling business. He has seen and done it all in his time as an active wrestler and has won multiple championships in a career that spanned over almost 40 years.

However, ‘The Nature Boy’ announced his last match in the previous month. His last match will be on July 31st, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee at Jim Crockett Promotions. Flair announced this on Twitter.

We saw Ric Flair in a couple of training videos with the AEW wrestler Jay Lethal prior to announcing the return. He was taking some bumps on his back and also practicing punches and kicks in that training video.

Recently, Flair shared one more video of his training with Lethal on his Twitter account. The five second video showed Jay Lethal slamming connecting a Top Rope Slam on Ric Flair. 

Flair’s tweet said, “F*** Yeah! See You In Nashville! WOOOOO! @TheLethalJay @StarrcastEvents”

Wrestling fans were in a state of shock as 73-year-old Flair taking a bump through the top rope. This shows the level of dedication Naitch has been showing for his last match.

They will announce the opponent of The Nature Boy in early July as per rumors. However, Flair seems to be ready for his final time in the squared circle. With this match, ‘The Nature Boy’ wants to retire on his own terms.

Wrestling fans are excited to see Ric Flair as the event tickets got sold within 24 hours

A few days after Ric Flair announced his return, he shared the news of the tickets being on sale for the event. To everyone’s surprise, all the tickets were sold within 24 hours, creating a record. Clearly, the fans are very much excited to see The Nature Boy lace his boots for one last dance.

Flair shared this news on twitter, saying, “My Last Match Is SOLD OUT! WOOOOO! @StarrcastEvents @FiteTV”.

With the arena filled with his fans, Ric Flair will surely be pumped with extra motivation for his match. It is admirable how hard he works out to render a top performance for the wrestling universe.

Naitch has a green signal from the doctors

As Ric Flair is coming back to the ring after over a decade, many wondered about his health condition when he announced the big news.

Speaking with TMZ, Flair gave his health update. He said, “I don’t have any aches or pains. I know I’ve had the health issues, but I asked 40 different doctors, and I decided I’m only gonna listen to one. Not necessarily the one that was gonna give me the right answer, but that I felt the most comfortable with”.

Further, the wrestling legend stated the doctors gave him a green light to have one more match. He claims to be 85% fit and will train hard as per his capability at this age to have a potentially great last match.
