Ric Flair is currently in the headlines for his return to in-ring action at the Starrcast V event. The WWE legend often took to social media to show his preparations for his last pro wrestling match later this year. His fans are pretty excited to watch Flair wrestle once again inside the ring.

But apart from his return to in-ring action, there is another good news for all the Ric Flair fans. Flair will not only compete in his last match on July 31 in Nashville, Tennessee. The WWE legend will have an entire day (July 31) dedicated to him.

As per Prowrestling.net, in a recent press conference related to Ric Flair’s last pro wrestling match, the Nashville Deputy Mayor, Brenda Haywood, announced that July 31 will be Ric Flair Day in Nashville.

In his life so far, Flair had won several championships and awards. But this is one unique honor. The WWE legend will be one of those few special individuals to have an entire day dedicated to them.

Several people will look forward to seeing Ric Flair back in the squared circle. Fans are not just excited about Flair’s return to in-ring action. People are also worried about Ric Flair’s health, given his age. But we hope everything goes fine and fans can once again enjoy seeing the WWE legend compete in a match.

When did Ric Flair last compete in a match?

As of this writing, Ric Flair’s last pro wrestling match took place at an Impact Wrestling House Show back in September 2011. On that night, he took on WCW legend, Sting. Sting and Flair competed in a match on that night for over 14 minutes. But in the end, Sting emerged victorious.

Flair is one individual who has competed in several pro wresting promotions apart from WWE. And his overall pro wrestling career is nothing short of incredible. “The Nature Boy” has won multiple championships in WWE and WCW. Also, not to forget, he is also a two-time WWE Hall of Famer.
