In the first week of November this year, Ric Flair confirmed his signing with AEW. Even after serving the wrestling industry for so long, Flair does not appear to be giving up. He had his last match in the wrestling ring in 2022. Now, it looks like he is back for more. As soon as he signed with Tony Khan’s promotion, he mentioned that he wanted to wrestle the AEW World Champion.
This opened up the room for a feud between the 16-time WWE World Champion and MJF. Even though Flair’s role in the promotion is not yet clear, the legend is still excited that he will get to work with Friedman.

After Flair mentioned his wish to wrestle MJF, the AEW World Champion wasn’t flattered. MJF, being his usual self posted a savage reply for the wrestling legend by saying that it could turn into a ‘buried alive’ match for Flair. Despite what went down between the two online, Flair still isn’t done with obsessing over the AEW champion.
Ric Flair took to his Twitter and wrote an exciting part of his new job. He mentioned how he is looking forward to working with Friedman and he was honored to meet him.
The wrestling legend said, “I Met [MJF] Last Night. OMG! He Has THE GIFT! I’m Honored To Have Met You. Looking Forward To Working With You & Our Relationship Going Forward. You’ve Got A Gift That So Few Have! You’re Special! WOOOOO!”
