Ric Flair is one of the greatest names in professional wrestling who has had a long career. ‘The Nature Boy’ looked crisp during most of his career, even while his last run in WWE as an active wrestler.
While being on the road, Flair never followed a proper diet. However, after a near-death experience a couple of years prior, Niatch follows a strict eating and claims to be in the best shape of his life.

In the recent episode of Ric Flair’s ‘To Be The Man’ podcast, he shared his current diet. The ‘Limousine Ridin’ wrestling legend, who had a match a few months ago, is in the best shape of his life. He replied to a fan question who asked about his daily diet.
Flair said, “Chicken, fish, fresh vegetables steamed. I only have one cheat day a week. So I was 240 lbs, that was like 238 lbs down to 218 lbs, maybe 235 lbs to 218 lbs. Plus a four, four, two days a week. I tried five at first but I was just too tired.”
He added, “I know how to diet, I have done that before in my life. There is always a formula, everybody’s got a different formula but for me, I eat chicken and fish. Especially if I’m going to eat at night, I have to eat something light, like salmon or something.”
Flair, who was 68 years old in 2017, went into a coma after serious complications occurred from a bowel surgery that caused kidney failure and multiple other problems. Ric spent almost a month before he was released.

However, upon returning, Slick-Ric took his health much more seriously. He had a proper diet, went to the gym to regain his physical strength, and came back strong. Naitch even had one last match this year on July 31st.
Ric Flair returning to WWE next year for RAW 30th Anniversary
The Nature Boy asked for his release from WWE in August 2021. He then went on other promotions during that time, especially returning to NWA, a promotion which gave Flair mainstream success.
However, in the same episode, Ric Flair shared about returning to WWE. He said, “I have been invited and it’s a fucking big deal. And for all the people out there who go why? Because it’s RAW and it’s a big fucking deal.”
He added, “Hell yeah, are you kidding me? 30 years, you think about that. Remember when Nitro was just going to destroy RAW? I can’t even remember how to spell Nitro anymore, can you?”

Flair would return to WWE after almost a year. We last saw him in a storyline as the kayfabe father of Lacey Evans unborn child during the Thunderdome era.
