As much as pro wrestling is a game of brains, it needs brawns as well. Wrestling stars have performed impressive feats that fans were not expecting to see on numerous occasions. One such coup that fans witnessed was by Rhea Ripley’s cutthroat rival, Raquel Rodriguez. In a tweet, she made the strongman Bronson Reed have a run for his money.

Raquel Rodriguez might be stronger than Rhea Ripley

In a clip released by the X (formerly Twitter) handle of WWE, Bronson Reed, Raquel Rodriguez, and Maxxine Dupri were a part of the challenge. The challenge was to hold a weight at shoulder level and to see who could hold it the longest. Rodriguez came in second. Upon being taunted by Reed, Rodriguez decided to take a snarky jab at him with her reply.

Rodriguez held the weight for almost 2 minutes and 38 seconds. While Dupri came in last, Reed held the weight the longest with 2 minutes and 40 seconds. Even though she was a couple of seconds short, that does not mean her strength is lacking. The Raw superstar who stands at an impressive 183 centimeters is a powerhouse inside the ring.

Fans got a taste of her gruesome regime when she was present on Sheamus’s YouTube channel as a guest.

Fans know that the 32-year-old likes to show off her muscular back whenever she enters the ring. And on occasions, she has proven her raw power as she tossed her opponents around in the ring. The work Rodriguez puts behind this power was revealed in an episode of Celtic Warrior Workouts. The show, which is the brainchild of WWE star Sheamus, shows the workout routine of various pro wrestling stars for the fans to know. In the episode when Rodriguez was present, she decided to demonstrate her favorite exercises to strengthen her back.

The routine included a series of exercises that made the muscles contract in all the ways possible. The routine included exercises such as Y, T & A band stretches, reverse dumbbell flies with dead stops and the finisher included burpees to pull-ups. Sheamus was particularly devastated following this workout.

As she had mentioned in the episode, she has tried all sorts of exercises and all sorts of diets. The strength that she has now is a result of trial and error from years of experience.
