After keeping the WWE Universe waiting for so long, Rhea Ripley finally made her jaw-dropping return on Raw last week. It was just as ideal as most of the fans and company insiders thought it would be. Amidst the boiling Liv Morgan-Dominik Mysterio romance, many could see Ripley waiting for her Dom-Dom to reciprocate his interest in Morgan before firing back. On Raw last week, as soon as the dirty duo of DomDom and Morgan attained victory in a tag team match, the music hit. Mami sneaked in with a death stare as Morgan fled the scene.

The episode went off the air by keeping us guessing about their tense interaction. The guess seems to be over now with the Eradicator making it all clear with a creepy IG story.

Rhea Ripley drops a bombshell teaser hours after her return 

WWE wrote Mami off TV after she took a nasty shoulder injury from Liv Morgan. Moreover, The Eradicator wouldn’t have been happy as the promotion hyped up the Queen of Extreme’s intent of conducting a revenge tour. Morgan challenged to take everything from Mami and kept her word as well in the King and Queen of the Ring PLE with unintentional help from Dominik Mysterio. But the 30-year-old didn’t stop at that. She fiercely pursued Mami’s kayfabe beau Dominik Mysterio through the weeks.

From inflicting a kiss on his lips to handing him over the room key of her hotel, the current Women’s World Championship turned extremely flirtatious to woo Mysterio over. While the former North American champion had shown signs of denying her love, in recent weeks, Mysterio’s stance has softened. Their interactions looked like taking a step forward when he agreed to team up with Morgan to take on his father and Zelina Vega last week.

Mami shook him up by making a surprise entry after the match. While USA Network stopped the airing, we came to see him in a helpless state under Mami’s dark spell from some post-show footage. If you’re someone who crazily wonders what awaits Dirty Dom next, Mami heard you. The latest picture on her IG story clearly showed Dominik being ready to pack his bags and leave with Mami pointing her fingers toward the door.

Does that mean Dominik Mysterio’s Judgment Day stint is set to end here? However, even if it happens, it might be what we need at the moment.

Why does Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio’s breakup make perfect sense?

The Ripley-Mysterio chemistry has lost its magic touch. No matter how odd it may sound, but it’s what it is. Especially when a new ship is in the forefront of the WWE Universe. We’ve seen everything that Ripley and Dom do together. He’s been her submissive toyboy, had her back in winning important matches, and has done various mischievous deeds together, etc. What else is there to do other than repeat the same things? If WWE pushes it further, it might only end up frustrating fans in the long run. So, it’s time to move on.

Secondly, Rhea Ripley most probably will turn face going forward as she’s currently portraying a victim of Liv Morgan with no title in her waist. So, keeping her hinged with a seasoned heel like DomDom only hinders the growth of both of their characters.
