Of late, Rhea Ripley has been notorious for viciously attacking WWE superstars, mercilessly injuring them in the process. Recently, Raquel Rodriguez was attacked by Ripley a few weeks ago during a backstage interview.

Ripley popped out of nowhere and started ruthlessly attacking Rodriguez. Later, she kicked her in the knee, which put her in immense pain. This knee injury later cost Rodriguez and Morgan the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. This week, Ripley continued her spree by brutally stomping upon Morgan’s left shoulder. But it seems like this was done to give relief to Morgan.

Sometimes a certain storyline in the WWE is created to benefit the wrestlers. This was the case with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler losing the Women’s Tag Team titles. The entire feud was created to facilitate a smooth exit for Rousey, whose contract with the WWE is going to end soon.

Similarly, this attack by Ripley on RAW is part of a ploy to help give more time to Liv Morgan to recover from her shoulder injury. WWE always likes to use real-life stories and convert them into enticing storylines in the ring. Hence, when Morgan needed a break to recover from her injury, they gave her a reason in the storyline for a short hiatus.

WWE converted this into a feud where fans are led to believe that Morgan will be out of action due to the stomping attack by Rhea Ripley. This makes things even more enticing as fans know that Morgan now has a reason to return.

Morgan will now go into rehab to determine the severity of the injury. Morgan’s injury concerns her rotator cuff, a group of muscles and tendons in the shoulder that regulate arm movement. Rotator cuff injuries can be treated both surgically and non-surgically depending on how grave the injury is. If she opts for surgery, she will be out of action for four-to-six months.

If not, then fans can heave a sigh of relief and expect her to make a comeback soon. We can only wait for further updates to see how the entire situation progresses. How much time do you think it will take Liv Morgan to return and lay waste to Rhea Ripley?
