Rhea Ripley Levels Liv Morgan With a Savage Riposte Hours After Flooring Raquel Rodriguez to Retain Her Women’s Gold

Rhea Ripley continues to rule in her boss-girl vibe! For those who dare to doubt her even a bit, The Nightmare once again retained her Women’s World Championship title at Payback last night. After a tough fight from both sides, Ripley knocked Raquel Rodriguez down with a Riptide, using Dominik Mysterio’s interference to her advantage. The showdown delivered a stellar outcome as promised, but it seems like Rodriguez’s tag teammate Liv Morgan hoped for something else only to be ragged on by Mami hours later.

Ripley has got the better of Morgan and Rodriguez now and it seems her supremacy is not only restricted to the ring.

Ripley and Rodriguez have started trading barbs at each other since their NXT days. The Big Mami Cool got the upper hand against Ripley at NXT New Year’s Evil two years back. With both of them rising to the main roster, their history followed and finally led to a hyped-up encounter between two old rivals.

Despite Rodriguez heading to the bout as an underdog, his tag team partner Liv Morgan showed high hope for her victory given her own history with The Judgement Day member.

Letting out her vindictiveness in the air, Morgan issued a motivating message to her friend teammate before the big bout. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, she wrote, ”F*** her up. @RaquelWWE.”

Ripley was slyly waiting for the perfect time to launch her vicious counterattack. After defeating Rodriguez last night, Mami stung back at Morgan with a witty jab.

The crowd-favorite Liv Morgan has been on a hiatus for the past two months after a brutal attack by Ripley during a past Raw episode. Reports confirmed she fell victim to a severe shoulder injury.

However, as Payback loomed large, speculation floated everywhere regarding the former SmackDown Women’s Champion’s much-anticipated return to the mix to help Raquel Rodriguez against Ripley.

But sadly, it didn’t materialize and the 29-year-old had no option but to keep her animosity confined to some cheeky tweets. For those wondering, There’s still no word on Morgan’s return.
