Rhea Ripley Highlights How WWE Started the Conversation of Her Winning the Royal Rumble With an Unusual “Message” Two Days Before the Event – “What Do You Mean…”

2023 is proving to be a great year for Rhea Ripley. The female wrestler became the Women’s SmackDown Champion at WrestleMania 39. Going further back, she got featured in the WWE 2K23 video game with a fair rating that satisfies her. Not to forget, The Eradicator won the women’s Royal Rumble in January 2023 as well. While recalling her Royal Rumble achievement, Ripley shared some crazy information.

Ripley appeared on Mark Andrews’ podcast, ‘My Love Letter to Wrestling‘. She talked about several things and among the topics was her reaction to knowing the results of Women’s Royal Rumble 2023. The story she narrated is something most fans wouldn’t expect from WWE.

While talking to Mark Andrews, Ripley revealed that her win during the Women’s Royal Rumble did not come easy. She had to endure WWE’s weirdly funny “message” before coming out on top. She told him that she received a message asking about how her cardio is.

Ripley’s instant reaction to the question was, “What do you mean, how is my cardio?” She revealed that she had good cardio training at that time as well, but the follow-up sentence to that question shocked her.

It was then revealed that she has been decided to be the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble. Ripley couldn’t believe what she just heard and several doubts crossed her mind. This was because she did not want to mess up her victory performance at the Royal Rumble event. As the whole WWE universe witnessed, Ripley was able to put up a great show for spectators, being the first one to enter the ring yet the last one standing.

It’s a fact that no wrestler can win an exhilarating event such as the ‘Royal Rumble’ without enduring any physical toll.

As mentioned before, The Eradicator entered the ring first. However, despite all the wrestlers that entered the match. Ripley was able to stand strong. She even engaged in a brawl with Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, but Ripley came out on top, nevertheless.

She outlasted the 29 women that entered the ring after her,  sending fans into a frenzy for her. Several fans started tweeting in support of Mami during the Royal Rumble and she eventually came out on top.
