The Judgment Day boys couldn’t live up to their amour propre tonight. Yes, they had to give up their coveted tag team gold to Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso after a stiff brawl at Fastlane hours ago. And it seems JD McDonagh is the man to blame.

In an intense match against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, McDonagh saw his chance to help Damian Priest tonight. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, he ended up injuring him, giving the win to the faces. That said, The Irish Ace wanted to mend things up, but Mami was having none of it.

Rhea Ripley doesn’t want JD McDonagh to sort things out with Damian Priest

Tonight’s stellar show at Gainbridge Fieldhouse saw Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio coming to the help of their stablemates. But they were not able to escape a humiliating defeat. When McDonagh accidentally hit The Senor with the Money in the Bank briefcase, the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions couldn’t let the turn slide and pinned Balor in the middle of the ring.

Realizing just what he had done, McDonagh made a tweet urging Priest to receive his call post the event.

His intention to reconcile was, however, thrown into disarray by Mami, who shut him down with a one-word warning, ‘Stop.’

While The Eradicator didn’t seem to be sold on the idea of McDonagh atoning for his own botch, she also didn’t let Priest take a certain action during the show.

Mami stopped an almost inevitable cash-in segment at Saturday’s PLE

The Judgment Day and the 33-year-old Raw superstar did everything to stop the unified force of Rhodes and Uso. Ripley tried to flirt with Uso, while McDonagh was close to hitting Rhodes.

After everything failed and the situation went in the favor of the faces, Priest looked frustrated backstage. Not wanting to go home empty-handed, he was seen discussing cashing in his Money in The Bank briefcase with Mami. But Ripley quickly snatched the briefcase away from him, asking him not to do anything of that sort in the PLE.

Now, it will be exciting to see if tonight’s affairs prove to be a major factor in JD McDonagh’s rumored debut at The Judgment Day or not.
