Rhea Ripley has had one of the most successful runs in the WWE’s women’s division in 2023. She won the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble, dethroned Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39, and is part of the hottest heel faction in the WWE. Now, she can add another achievement to that list.

She is considered one of the most dominant females in the WWE, and this new achievement cemented her status at the top of the food chain.

Rhea Ripley ranks #1 on the PWI 2023 Women’s 250 Ranking

Pro Wrestling Illustrated is known to put out annual ranking lists for wrestlers in the pro wrestling industry. Whether from the WWE or any other promotion, making it on this list is an enormous achievement. However, this isn’t her only achievement this year.

Taking to social media, PWI rankings announced on their official handle that the #1 women’s wrestler in the world for 2023 was Ripley. She would be featured on the magazine cover, and her stats would be provided inside.

Ripley took to her account to post a reaction stating, “Mami’s ALWAYS on top 😘😈.” This is a proud moment for Ripley as it adds to the incredible year she’s been having. Moreover, this is a massive improvement since last year, when she didn’t even make the top 10.

The Australian Superstar has been a regular on WWE programming since joining The Judgment Day. She recently completed her 200 days as the WWE Women’s World Champion. The top five women, according to the list, are:

1. Rhea Ripley
2. Giulia
3. Bianca Belair
4. Jamie Hayter
5. Tam Nakano

Despite this achievement, Ripley still has a daunting task ahead.

The Fatal-5-way at Crown Jewel for the title

The PLE at Saudi Arabia, Crown Jewel, will see Ripley defend her title in a fatal-5-way match against, Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Raquel Rodriguez, and Zoey Stark. This match was created when her match against Baszler ended in disqualification on the season premiere of Monday Night RAW.

All the women in the lineup are fighting for the title and dominance in the women’s division. While Ripley has maintained the spot for a long time, others want to dethrone her. Jax returning to RAW left a trail of destruction in regaining that #1 spot. Rodriguez and Baszler have unfinished business with Ripley. Stark would like to settle the score with Jax.
