Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest experienced the shock of their lives when they were betrayed by the rest of Judgment Day. They were coincidentally betrayed on the same night but seemed to have found comfort in the fact that they were in this together. Ripley and Priest have got each other’s back during the chaos brewing in their professional lives on Monday Night Raw.

After a show in June 2023, a fan recorded the Australian wrestler’s reaction to a title retention. She had a match during a SuperShow in Manchester on the 4th of June that year. Ripley ended up retaining the title and the fan captured a clip where she meets up with Priest and he gives her a piggyback ride. The Eradicator reposted this tweet back then and even called Priest her “Terror Twin”. This name could have more than one meaning, but there is a possibility that Mami was referencing the former American metal band Motley Crue because of the nature of her gimmick.

On Raw 08/12, we saw WWE finally use this name officially for Ripley and Priest. A poster was shown on the screen during the show that confirmed the match that the duo will have against Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan at Bash in Berlin. While Mysterio and Morgan don’t have a team name as of now, The Judgment Day may be getting a new one soon.

The Eradicator was brutally betrayed. The moment at SummerSlam would have been no short of a heartache. However, she tried to focus on her objective in the best way possible. During the same night, Priest also faced a betrayal at the hands of Finn Balor, whom he probably trusted the most out of all the men in the group. Ripley and Priest typically assumed most of the control over the rest, despite their rule of not having a set leader. So, after ditching them in Cleveland, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Judgment Day going by a new name to highlight their identity.

There were some rumors online that suggested that JD would be renamed as “Street Trash”. Make of it what you will, but it sounds hilarious for some reason. Perhaps its a reference to the fact that members on the fringes ascended the ranks to realize their dreams. On the contrary, announcers also gave Judgment Day a new name on Monday Night Raw. Anyhow, it seems like the heel faction is getting a new name in the promotion. We just have to be patient and see how it turns out.
