WWE NXT has been the brand to focus on recently for the Women’s Division. The reason? Two Superstars who moved to the main roster from NXT have become champions, and another is dominating NXT. Their names are Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and Raquel Gonzalez.
Now, WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, revealed how Scotty 2 Hotty helped both her and Gonzalez in becoming the Superstars they are. She was in conversation with Alistair McGeorge from Metro when she expressed her immense gratitude for Scotty 2 Hotty.
“I think one of the main ones in NXT that helped not only me but Raquel as well is Scotty 2 Hotty. He had always been there for us through everything. We went through a real hard point together in NXT where Raquel and I were the only two females in Scotty’s class. We were going through it, we were really trying to work hard and do as best as we could, but for some reason it just wasn’t happening.”

“So, Scotty was there to help us through that rough time and he still helps us today. We had a good chat with him on Tuesday at NXT, and he’s so proud of how far both of us have gone. Without Scotty, I don’t think you would see the Rhea Ripley that you see today, the Raquel Gonzalez you see today. So Scotty’s definitely one of the big helpers in my life.”
Raquel Gonzalez and Rhea Ripley have feuded on-screen during their time at NXT. However, Ripley got called to the Raw Women’s roster recently, and now she’s the champion.
Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, and Raquel Gonzalez are raising the value of WWE NXT
Raquel Gonzalez is the current NXT Women’s champion. She defeated Io Shirai, the former champion, on night one of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
Rhea Ripley arrived on Raw and challenged Asuka, the former champion. The duo clashed at WrestleMania 37, and Ripley emerged victorious. Currently, she’s in a three-way storyline with Asuka and Charlotte Flair.

Bianca Belair arrived on SmackDown and won the Royal Rumble Women’s match, which gave her the opportunity to challenge Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37. She pinned Banks and became the new SmackDown Women’s champion.
However, she wants a rematch with Banks at the earliest to show the WWE Universe that she is the real champion, and her victory at the Show of Shows wasn’t a stroke of luck.
