Dominik Mysterio influences NXT numbers for good

A recent tweet showed wrestling fans the truth about Mysterio’s performance. The 26-year-old recently won his first singles championship. Since then, things have only appeared to be going upward for the wrestler. NXT’s North American Champion has brought major changes in viewership numbers of WWE’s developmental brand. It appears that the star’s presence and performance were the prime factors.

Reports suggest that Dominik Mysterio has been able to draw 776,000 viewers on NXT. This was their highest viewership since April 2021. Moreover, his segment drew 840,000 views, and his title match against Dragon Lee drew 870,000 views on the developmental brand.

Rhea Ripley felt proud when this information emerged on social media, compelling her to repost the same on her Twitter. She retweeted the stats along with a ‘crown’ emoji, probably implying that she intends to call her on-screen partner a ‘king’.

Mami’s proud moment is understandable at the moment. However, she isn’t the only one who is admiring Dom’s growth in the wrestling industry. Turns out, his father is still keeping an eye out for him.

Rey Mysterio forgets the conflict to show Dominik that he is proud

The father-son duo started their conflict when Dominik separated himself from his father. The youngling joined the villainous faction The Judgment Day and kept on feuding with his father. Even though the conflict was eventually concluded at WrestleMania 39, they still appear to be on bitter terms. However, after Dominik defeated Wes Lee and became the North American Champion for NXT, his father expressed his pride.
