Everyone knows the tainted in-ring relationship between Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio. Often referred to by Dominik as his ‘deadbeat dad’, Rey Mysterio has had his downfall wished for by his heel son many times. Now, it seems like Dom’s wish came true. Along with him, there’s Rhea Ripley, who didn’t bother hiding her ecstatic moment after seeing the master of the 619 betrayed by his fellow faction members.

Rhea Ripley laughs as the Latino World Order falls

Rhea Ripley could not contain her happiness after seeing the Latino World Order fall apart in the latest episode of SmackDown. Carlito confronted Santos Escobar during the opening segments of the episode. Members of the Latino World Order were in the ring when Carlito entered the scene, asking whether Escobar was involved in Mysterio’s loss at the Crown Jewel. This one question paved the way for doubts and skepticism within the stable. As the faction was falling apart, The Eradicator decided to give her insights into the whole situation.

Apart from this, she also posted a gif showing her reaction to the unexpected turn of events. Chaos ensued at this week’s SmackDown when Bobby Lashley had a bout with Latino World Order’s Carlito. After a while, the Street Profits joined in to give Carlito a beating. Santos Escobar was also there, but refused to help Carlito.

Later, when Rey Mysterio tried to intervene, Escobar attacked him and did not let him help his stablemate. This left fans in shock as it turned to be a massive heel moment for Escobar. Mysterio joined the Legado Del Fantasma a few months ago to reform the Latino World Order. Since then, the faction has stuck together no matter what.

Fans know that Carlito did not interrogate Escobar with bad intentions. However, now the question does arise, what was Escobar’s involvement in the Lucha Libre’s defeat?

Is it really Santos Escobar’s fault?

Escobar has always deemed Rey Mysterio as his mentor. So it is very unlikely that he might conspire to work against Mysterio. During the Crown Jewel title defense, Logan Paul’s loyal crewmate came along the ringside to slide in a pair of brass knuckles to the younger boxer. As soon as Escobar saw him, he made sure that the culprit was chased away. However, he ended up making one grave mistake.

As Paul’s crewmate ran away, he left the knuckles on the apron. This led Carlito to believe that Escobar saw the knuckles there, but decided not to do anything about them. Thus, he accused him of his actions. During SmackDown, things took a hard turn and Escobar ended up attacking his idol.
