“Watching His Son Fail”: Fans Troll Vince McMahon And His WWE Protégé After a Disastrous MITB Cash in on WWE RAW

Vince McMahon was willing to give a quick rise to the top if he feels something unique about a WWE superstar. Similarly, he pushed Austin Theory, or just Theory, to the top around last year September and he got a massive rise on the roster.

Theory won the US Title on the RAW after WrestleMania and a couple of months later, the Money in the Bank briefcase, too. It seems things were going great for him until Mr. McMahon retired and we got to see the same on the latest RAW episode.

On this week’s episode of the red brand, Seth Rollins issued an open challenge for the US Title. However, Bobby Lashley came out to answer the challenge, but it seems he had some other plans. The Almighty gave a beating to The Visionary before someone answered the challenge. But while Lashley was making his exit, Theory came with an intention to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

The ‘A-Town Down’ star cashed in his contract for the US Title and had a match with injured Rollins. Surprisingly, Lashley came out again, but this time attacked Theory. Hence, Vince McMahon’s protégé’s cash-in became a failed one.

Theory tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Roman Reigns several times, but the stars never let that happen. Moreover, it was a shocking scene for the WWE Universe to see Theory cash in his contract for an open challenge match.

Since Vinnie-Mac retired from WWE, the fans expected Theory’s booking on the card would change. However, what happened today was shocking for everyone.

It is unclear now what the actual plans for Theory are in WWE under the creative control of Triple H. Mr. McMahon gave his protégé a huge push while he was in charge, but now the case is completely opposite. The last time a similar incident happen was when John Cena cashed in and The Big Show interfered with making the attempt to fail.
