Cody Rhodes is very protective of his family legacy and doesn’t like someone talking trash about them. However, that’s not the only topic that enrages him. If someone talks trash about his pet dogs Pharaoh (Siberian Husky) and Yeti Pinkerton (Pomeranian), he’ll be there to confront them. Something similar happened in the latest episode of RAW.

After ‘The American Nightmare’ returned backstage after a trailblazing promo with Sami Zayn, he found Baron Corbin talking trash about him in an interview with Cathy Kelley. ‘The Modern Day Wrestling God’ brought up Dustin Rhodes, Dusty Rhodes, and even his pet dog in his interview.

Corbin said, “But now Roman has another opponent that he’s gonna walk straight through. That man is Cody Rhodes. A guy who takes eight months to go home and nerve some minor injury. A guy that is handed the number 30 spot at the Royal Rumble.”

He added, “I don’t get it, I don’t see it, I’m not impressed and I don’t get what everybody sees in him. Matter of fact, I think Cody Rhodes is a joke. I think his brother is a joke. I think his dad is a joke and I think his dog (Pharaoh)….” .

Shockingly, Rhodes was standing behind, hearing Corbin talking trash about his family. He wasn’t able to tolerate more of the insults and quickly attacked Corbin and taught a lesson to him.

Fans react to Baron Corbin talking trash about Cody Rhodes’ family

The Rhodes is one of the most beloved families in wrestling. They love and adore Dusty Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes aka Goldust, and Cody Rhodes, but The American Nightmare’s pet dog Pharaoh is also famous. Last week on RAW we saw a hint of how Cody got angry when Paul Heyman tried to take a shot at him using his father’s name.

Hence, the WWE Universe didn’t like when Corbin disrespected them and we can see the same in some of the reactions they shared on Twitter.

He shouldn’t have mentioned Pharaoh!

He quickly asked for a match!

Corbin went too far!

Rhodes quickly challenged Corbin for a match, followed by their brawl. The former AEW star asked a referee to come out ringside to officiate the match.

The American Nightmare was in his suit, yet didn’t care about it. He wanted to take a stand for his family and teach Corbin a lesson for disrespecting the Rhodes family legacy.

Rhodes wasn’t scheduled for a match, but after the promo stepped into the ring to make Corbin pay for his words, and won the match with a Cross-Rhodes.
