The Bloodline led by Roman Reigns has changed the landscape of WWE forever. A monstrous storyline that has been going on for over 3 years continues to find ways to add new tension and drama within its members. In fact, it aspires to reach a pinnacle and produce matches very few fans would ever think of.

However, now, with the latest developments rolling in, those mighty plans might not come to fruition after all.

The twists and turns produced by this arc each passing week make tuning into SmackDown and the PLEs a must. Ever since the Usos turned on Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, WWE creatives have constantly tried to engage fans with unexpected swerves.

According to Wrestling Letter Observer, the idea at SummerSlam was to set up potential clashes between the Usos pitted against each other and Reigns vs Sikoa moving forward. They also hinted at a potential fatal-four-way match between all of them. 

However, Ringside News quashed the news by saying: never heard that idea from anyone.”

Well, we could see clearly the intentions, as the tradition of surprising fans continued at SummerSlam when Jimmy Uso turned on his brother Jey Uso, costing him his first Undisputed World Championship.

Roman Reigns and The Bloodline drama dipping?

Unfortunately, like any storyline, not all the angles necessarily click with the WWE universe. While Jey pinning Reigns at the Money in the Bank PLE shocked many, the idea did not thrill some backstage.

Even Jimmy’s turn on Jey and the following explanation on SmackDown got lukewarm and negative responses from fans. Clearly, the signs follow towards continuing the storyline at least till WrestleMania 40, next year, till the time someone takes down Reigns.

With either Cody Rhodes or Dwayne Johnson expected to take on Roman Reigns next year in 2024, fans can definitely expect more meat in the story moving ahead.
