Seth Rollins has an extended list of rivals in the wrestling world. And one of his former opponents might be coming back for more. New reports suggest that a huge push is currently being developed for one of The Visionary’s older enemies. The wrestler in question is none other than Kevin Owens.

When will Seth Rollins’ reign come to an end?

Although Owens has reigned as a champion in the Stamford-based company quite a few times, he hasn’t had the honor to adorn the World Heavyweight Championship yet. However, it looks like WWE could be working toward changing the power structure at Monday Night Raw soon.

KO is currently working at SmackDown. However, this shift to another brand is not permanent. So, it can be expected that fans might see a new challenger for Rollins’ title sooner than expected.

This would be a major change in the storyline between the two wrestlers. The reason is the fact that the two wrestlers have been enjoying a ceasefire between them for a long while now. However, if fans remember correctly, they realize that the two wrestlers have shared quite a rivalry together.

As we might see the two wrestlers against each other soon, it would prove useful to have a brief summary regarding their relationship in WWE in recent years.

The relationship that Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens share

Much like many other kayfabe relationships in the wrestling industry, Owens and Rollins have also largely been rivals. The main story arc between them kicked off when the two of them came face to face at WrestleMania 36 three years ago. At the moment, neither of the wrestlers had any championship titles on the line. However, it should be noted that Rollins lost to KO during that matchup.

Their rivalry didn’t end there. In fact, both the rivals faced each other in solo matches until 2021. After this year, WWE moved on from their arc for good, with a twist in mind. So, we have seen them team up on occasions more than once since then. The same team-up also occurred in 2023 at a Monday Night Raw in July against the Judgment Day in a 6-person tag.

Since teaming up together isn’t their strongest suit, we can assume that WWE reintroducing their rivalry might sit right for both fans and the two wrestlers.
