One would be lying if they claimed Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E don’t deserve singles runs. Since the Shield disbanded, the New Day has risen and filled up that vacant spot as WWE’s best faction. By splitting them up, WWE took a massive risk, and it almost paid off.

But now there are rumours that WWE want to bring the group back together, especially with WWE returning to live events this July. According to WrestleVotes, Big E might make the move to Raw to join Kofi and Xavier Woods. However, they won’t be a faction and Big E can focus on his singles run.

Many fans touted the former Intercontinental Champion as a potential challenger for Roman Reigns’ WWE Universal Championship. However, WWE saddled him with the Intercontinental Championship, which he lost to Apollo Crews at WrestleMania.

Despite the slump in his career, he’s still an entertaining performer and deserves a world title run. Will WWE grant him the run he deserves and have him explode, or will he reunite with the New Day and become WWE’s top faction again?

In a shocking turn of events, WWE booked former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston against Bobby Lashley at Money in the Bank. Having beaten Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell, Lashley could’ve taken the night off, but had an odd night.

Not only was his new challenger unveiled, he went through a second Hell in a Cell match, this time against Xavier Woods. Woods took the champion to the limit, but fell victim to a Spear and the Hurt Lock. After winning, he continued to torture Woods with Kofi looking on helplessly.
