Despite being one of the most popular storylines in the company, there was a lot of concern in WWE about The Bloodline. As Roman Reigns saw his tribe crumbling, he also saw real heat being generated on him.
The Tribal Court was the opening segment for WWE SmackDown at MSG, and it went well over 30 minutes. Speaking on his Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer reported that was a lot of impending heat on The Bloodline. He said, “I mean they, it was interesting because there were a couple of notes on that. Number one is, if there was a lot of concern, you know, debate going in, if going 30 minutes with that segment, you know, 35 minutes was overkill. They did it.”
Meltzer further stated that with it being overkill, the promotion failed to deliver anything special after that as well. With only an impressive segment between Grayson Waller, and Edge, the episode did not produce anything else.
Although, The Tribal Court session went over 30 minutes, Brandon Thurston reported that it was profitable. As it averaged well over 3 million viewers worldwide.

After Roman Reigns sent Jimmy Uso out in an ambulance. And Jey Uso would return toward the concluding moments of SmackDown to issue a challenge.
The rivalry began way back in 2020, with Roman Reigns being an oppressor and manipulating Jey Uso to side with him. However, after three years of abuse, The Usos have finally understood their worth, and broken free of their shackles.
However, it seems despite a lot of heat on them, WWE won’t be compromising on this money-maker and instead moved ahead as planned.
