The WWE Elimination Chamber PLE saw several surprising yet thrilling elements in most of its matches. However, the center of attraction was none other than the much-hyped storyline of Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. Currently, it is one of the engaging storylines of the roster which recently touched its peak. The credit for all of this must be going to the chief content officer of WWE,  Triple H, but the reports disclose the inclusion of Vince McMahon

McMahon’s association with WWE is well-known to wrestling fans. After his brief retirement, he walked into the company and became the executive chairman. During his absence, it was his son-in-law who looked over the creative output of the promotion. However, after his return, The Boss must be playing an integral role and a recent report points out the same.

According to journalist Dave Meltzer, McMahon had his say in the creative direction of the Sami Zayn-Reigns storyline.  During his radio show, he said, “It’s Paul Levesque (Triple H) and Vince. Vince does have input into this one. He definitely does. But still, in theory, it’s Paul’s decision.

A story that has become the favorite of most wrestling fanatics could have had inputs from McMahon which will surprise them. However, what won’t surprise them is the creative mind of one of the smartest minds in the pro wrestling industry. McMahon has been behind some of WWE’s best storylines over many decades.

Fans loved the match, but the ending didn’t satisfy them. On the contrary, it enraged many of them. As a result, they labeled it as the worst ending of any PLE.  A lot of criticism came the promotion’s way since the Elimination Chamber. Some said that WWE has become more predictable since The King of Kings has become a part of its creative team.

WWE has undergone a shake-up since the last year, due to Triple H being in charge, and while most of the decisions are appreciated by the fans, they were clear about where they stand on the recent creative direction.
