The Punjabi Prison match is something that the WWE Universe isn’t fond of. The main reason for this lack of enthusiasm is that the matches were nothing short of mediocre performances. But the matches had some moments to remember for the fans and one such moment was when Samir Singh of The Bollywood Boyz fell into a table after getting punched by Randy Orton from the top of the prison.
The Bollywood Boyz recently revealed what was going on behind the scenes and shared the reaction of Orton when the duo pitched this idea to him.

The Bollywood Boyz have nothing but high praise for Randy Orton
Randy Orton is one of the senior-most WWE Superstar in WWE history. Many Fellow superstars speak about Randy with high regard as the Apex Predator is considered a noble gentleman. The Bollywood Boyz are no exception as they only have gratitude towards the former world champion.
The duo recently appeared on the Talk is Jericho show, and they found time to talk about The Punjabi Prison match between Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton at Battleground 2017. Sunil and Samir, who were heavily involved in the match, shared some backstage incidents about the match with the host, Chris Jericho.
Samir, who went through a table from the top of the prison, shared the reaction of Randy Orton when he pitched the idea to him. Samir added-“I remember talking to Randy a couple of weeks before and pitched that idea to him and he was like, ‘Yeah we will get it done’.”
“You know that’s the thing like he didn’t want to do it cause you know… The story makes little sense, but he wanted to put that spotlight on us when it didn’t need to be about us. He made it like those 10 secs about us.”

The Bollywood Boyz and their stint in WWE
The Bollywood Boyz started their career working at WWE 205 live. From then, the duo was known as The Singh Brothers. The impact of the Singh Brothers in most of the matches accompanying Jinder Mahal was huge.
The duo helped Jinder attain his first WWE Championship in his career. Samir and Sunil then changed their gimmick back to the Bollywood Boyz, but it wasn’t enough for The Bollywood Boyz to stay in WWE as they got released from the brand recently.

On the other hand, WWE Legend Randy Orton is under a hiatus and hasn’t appeared from the brand for over a month. The Apex Predator is now teamed up with Matt Riddle, and the team is named as RK Bro. Reports suggested Randy could well be part of The Summerslam plans of WWE as they expect him to return to WWE RAW some weeks before the grandest event of the Summer.
