Former WWE NXT Superstar Karrion Kross is a two-time NXT Champion. He dominated his NXT title run for a striking amount of time. However, Samoa Joe returned to the black and gold brand and ended Karrion Kross’ title run at the NXT TakeOver 36.
Karrion Kross was a part of Triple H’s crew. Although, The Game, due to his medical conditions, is out of the responsibility of his brainchild, NXT. The former NXT Champion, after his run with the NXT brand, was no stranger in professional wrestling.

Since his release, Kross has been in high demand by other wrestling promotions. Karrion Kross returned to the wrestling world with his old wrestling name “Killer Kross.”
Former WWE NXT Champion was a part of Triple H’s version of the black and gold brand!
While speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Killer Kross shared his thoughts about WWE dismantling Triple H’s version of NXT. Since Triple H’s absence, many NXT superstars have been fired as described due to budget cuts. However, WWE fans have sometimes appreciated the NXT brand over Raw and SmackDown for its content.
The former two-time NXT Champion was asked if he assumes that the company is knocking down Triple H’s brainchild. Karrion Kross replied, “I have always been a guy that’s lived in my own bubble among wrestling.” Kross mentioned that he was not aware of the political strategies in the wrestling business. Karrion Kross stated that he always tried to shield himself from the business perspective and wanted to continue wrestling with the NXT.

Unfortunately, luck was not in favor of the former NXT Champion. “I’m just waiting for the time that I’m going to be given, alloted to go out there and perform and try to knock that out. I don’t want my energy to be stolen by this type of stuff,” Kross added.

Killer Kross wants an answer from the company
The two-time former NXT Champion felt unusual about his release from the WWE. He stated that the NXT roster bonded on a different level during the pandemic. Then, all of a sudden, Kross and his friends were fired by the company with no closure.
Kross said, “Even thinking back, there’s just so many things that weren’t adding up and making sense.” He also added, “I do wonder if they [WWE] are ever just going to tell everybody what the f**k actually happened because so many of us would actually really like to know.”
