With SummerSlam taking place in Cleveland, there had to be someone who would represent them becoming the hometown hero. WWE decided to go with Logan Paul, who hails from the great city. However, as the United States Champion made his way to the ring during the latest episode of SmackDown, there were multiple blank screens on the broadcast. While this is mostly done during wardrobe malfunctions, Paul didn’t experience any. So, where did the broadcast blackout some seconds of Paul’s entrance?

The answer for those who haven’t been keeping up with the WWE broadcast rights is the middle finger! WWE recently got into hot water by using a black screen whenever a fan shows the bird to the camera. This had happened a few times before, which caused continuity errors on the show.

Unfortunately, this was the case for Paul as the red-hot Cleveland crowd was unhappy with Paul representing them and made their feelings visible via their fingers. Social media was flooded with images of fans flipping Paul off as he made his way to the ring.

Other stars hailed from Cleveland, and fans would have loved to support DIY. However, with Paul being the hot heel he is, WWE decided to use him. Unfortunately, this resulted in several fans expressing utter dislike for this choice near the barricade.

Paul will be facing LA Knight for the United States title at SummerSlam, and fans have been speculating that he will drop the title. Paul has been the champion since he won the title from Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel in 2023. With Knight’s massive successes, this could be his first title victory.

Logan Paul could be bringing in someone big for SummerSlam

During the last episode of SmackDown, Paul claimed to have spoken to someone big in Cleveland. This person was referred to as Mr. Cleveland by Paul, hinting that it could be some big-time celebrity. However, he didn’t reveal the person’s identity. Fans claimed it could be anyone from artist MGK to Lebron James.

Only at SummerSlam shall we know who Paul was talking about and whether he will lose the title to Knight. Paul has defended the title multiple times with some help and has had a remarkable reign as Champion. Unfortunately, fans have been waiting to see Knight win either the US title or the Intercontinental one for quite some time now.
