We are all aware that Ricochet has opted to quit WWE after a successful tenure. The cause for this has been widely confusing. Although no specific reason has been identified thus far, another speculative report appears to have emerged as SRS recently remarked on Ricochet’s departure from WWE, which may have fueled more speculations.
SRS was discussing Ricochet and indicated that, while Ricochet’s contract has ended, it does not mean that he will not sign another agreement with the organization. Ricochet’s standing in the organization might change at any time if WWE can persuade him to stay by providing him with a higher-value deal.
Furthermore, according to SRS, Ricochet’s refusal to sign another deal with WWE might be a ploy for WWE to hype up Mr. High Flyer in the wrestling industry. Similar events occurred when MJF’s contract with AEW expired, and fans have been speculating that WWE may be attempting to pull the same move, but with Ricochet.

SRS stated in his Q and A session, “I don’t know how to say this being egocentric but I am good at my job it’s not work but I just don’t know. I wish I could transparently tell you, guys, that things that are suspected to be work can’t be work. Is it a possibility that he could say on second thoughts I will stay with WWE? That’s always a possibility but listen so far this has not been a work as if it would have been we would have reported it such”

SRS did not really accept the notion that so far nothing has been reported as a work, but he did state that Ricochet never departing the company may be a work. Fans are becoming increasingly interested in this storyline since many believe Ricochet may yet return to WWE. But why would WWE tell such a narrative about Ricochet?
