The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has been an important figure for the company. Brock Lesnar has proved his worth inside the squared circle by putting up the most attractively robust character. In addition, The Beast Brock Lesnar has smashed each of his opponents to the ground by welcoming them into ‘Suplex City.’
Even words can’t describe Brock Lesnar’s legacy and the fandom he provided to the WWE Universe. However, Brock Lesnar’s greatness can be defined by his former associate ‘Paul E. Dangerously,’ Paul Heyman.

The Beast Incarnate, back in 2002, experienced the most meteoric rises in WWE history. When Lesnar debuted in WWE, he quickly rose to the top with Paul Heyman in his corner.
Paul Heyman is by far the most vicious manager that the WWE Universe has ever witnessed. Heyman has not only managed Brock Lesnar, but he also served as a manager to other World Champions.
Given Paul Heyman’s status with the WWE, rival company TNA Wrestling (now Impact Wrestling) wanted Heyman to join TNA. However, on the latest episode of My World with Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett discussed why the company couldn’t sign Paul Heyman.
“Never could afford it [signing Heyman]. I just knew. Same with Jim Ross, same with a lot of folks, that Bob Carter and maybe Dixie and Janice or the attorneys, they may want to flirt with this, but when they start seeing real price tags, it wasn’t going to happen,” Jeff Jarrett said. Jeff Jarrett is a WWE Hall of Famer, but before that stood against WWE. In 2002, Jeff Jarrett and his father founded the NWA Total Nonstop Action (TNA). Unfortunately, Paul Heyman was not working for the WWE from 2007 to 2010.
So Jeff Jarrett’s TNA tried to reach out to Brock Lesnar’s former advocate, Heyman, but the company could not afford him.

Was money the real reason that TNA could not hire Paul Heyman?
WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett also mentioned former WWE commentator Jim Ross in the list. Jim Ross was a part of the WWE for a very long time. But, according to Jarett, even though TNA had a good run from 2007 to 2010, they could not bring Jim Ross into the company.
Jarett added, “There was a real education process up until we started having a good run in ’07, ’08, and ’09. They had money in the bank; then they pulled the trigger on Hulk Hogan. But for the most part, those price tags, they [TNA] weren’t up for that. They weren’t willing to spend the money.”
During that time, the six-time World Champion Hulk Hogan had just signed with TNA full-time. However, since the former President of TNA, Dixie Carter, pulled a big gun when they brought Hulk Hogan into the company, they were out of budget.

However, Jeff Jarrett also claimed that even if Paul Heyman and Jim Ross were a little expensive, TNA was unwilling to spend the money on these guys. Brock Lesnar’s former advocate Paul Heyman started with the WWE when he was a teenager. Since then, Heyman has shown his managing and microphone skills.
