WWE superstar, MVP, suffered a broken rib during Bobby Lashley’s match against Randy Orton at Monday Night Raw. This happened when MVP was involved in an argument with Orton’s tag team partner, Matt Riddle. While Riddle and MVP were busy arguing with each other outside the ring, Randy Orton came from behind to hit him with an RKO.

Injuries have been a constant threat to a wrestler’s career. Not only does it affect them physically but also hurts them mentally. Some wrestlers struggle to get back to their top form after recovering, while some are lucky enough to retain their form after successfully recovering from an injury.
However, this is not the first time that MVP has suffered an injury since his return to the WWE. Back in February, MVP suffered a knee injury on WWE Raw as the Hurt Business took on Matt Riddle and the Lucha House Party in a six-man tag team match.
MVP will finally undergo his knee surgery
In the month of April, MVP provided an update on his knee injury. He said, “As many of you know, my knee has been bothering me for a while now. While it is better, it hasn’t fully healed yet. We’ve been trying to avoid surgery, so we’re gonna try one more procedure. If that doesn’t work either, I might have to get some minor arthroscopic surgery for the knee but, not yet. We’re still gonna try another treatment first.”
But following his broken ribs during the latest episode of WWE Raw, MVP took it to twitter to announce that he will finally undergo his knee surgery.
No. I’m going to get knee surgery while this rib heals. 😉 https://t.co/qoffsnfn21

Is this the end of the Hurt Business?
Earlier in March, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander lost to Drew McIntyre in a 2 on 1 handicap match. This defeat ruled them out from Bobby Lashley’s corner during his match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37. Bobby Lashley got furious at this; incidentally, he then kicked out Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin from The Hurt Business.

Now, with MVP out for an indefinite period, it remains to be seen whether the Hurt Business will finally get resolved or will there be any new addition to it.
