WWE recently released multiple wrestlers from their contracts. However, one of the most shocking names on the released list was the former Raw Women’s Champion, Nia Jax, cousin of the WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Jax was last seen on live TV when her former tag team partner Shayna Baszler attacked her and kayfabe broke the former champ’s elbow. However, the real reason Jax was off TV was that she herself asked for a leave to take care of her mental health.
Now, pro-wrestling industry veteran Dave Meltzer recently reported that WWE had cosmic plans for Jax. However, when she rejected WWE’s plea to come back, the push was given to Duodrop.

The Rock’s cousin Jax was fired by the company once she decided to stay away a little longer to tend her mental health. Instead, WWE went to Duodrop, and this is the reason Doudrop turned into heel, to make her work just like Nia.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported that WWE was high on Duodrop once she was bought in the limelight; the company wanted her to act heel-ish like Jax
“The Doudrop spot was probably the spot they wanted Nia Jax in. Because if you remember they wanted Nia Jax back by mid-November and when she said no that’s when they fired her and that is when the Doudrop thing started being, you know,” said Dave.

After all the speculation that The Great One will show up on the Survivor Series PPV, he didn’t show up. However, the WWE subtly mentioned The Rock in various segments.
It looks like the former champ’s Hollywood schedule came in the way of him coming to WWE. However, the WWE Universe is still positive that Rock will show up against Roman Reigns.
The perfect time for Rock – Roman rivalry to blossom is WrestleMania. In that way, the stock in the rivalry and the gravitas will drastically get big, and the fans would love it.
