If there was one wrestler who elevated her career in NXT, it was the former NXT Champion, Mandy Rose. After failing to make a big impact on the main roster, Rose came to NXT. Here, she tagged along with Gigi Dolan and Jacy Jayne to form Toxic Attraction and dominated the NXT roster. While it is treated as a developmental brand, the women’s roster shows more talent than the main roster.

Being the top dog there, Rose delivered each and every time. So it was a shock when she lost her championship out of nowhere to Roxanne Perez. This just happened on the recent NXT show. When the shock wore off, in the arena, everyone in the building stood up and gave her great applause for all the work she had done during her run. So it was an even bigger shock that WWE released Rose following her title loss.

During Vince McMahon’s time, there was a big clause about wrestlers using other social media platforms to earn money. There was an entire scandal between Zelina Vega and WWE over the issue. But knowing now that she breached her contract, WWE releasing Rose is understandable. But after giving so much of her career to NXT and elevating the brand to great heights, WWE could have suspended her and taken some measures.

While they have released her from WWE, there is a sea full of wrestling promotions that Rose can go to. Recently, Impact! Wrestling has lost a big chunk of female wrestlers from Madison Rayne to Mia Yim to the Inspirations. So, Mandy Rose would be a great addition to the roster. Even if she doesn’t want to wrestle after WWE, she has a modeling career as well.
