The Rock often engages with his fans via social media and has fun exchanges with them when he meets them in person. He has often helped out many of his fans and made heartwarming gestures for them. However, The Brahma Bull once warned his fans against falling prey to scammers who duped them using his name online.
Dwayne Johnson asked his fans to be more vigilant
The fame and global popularity of Dwayne Johnson make him one of the most beloved Hollywood stars. DJ has often thanked the fans for their support in their careers. In fact, many times he has made some incredible gestures for his fans. They also hang on to every news and word coming out from The Rock’s mouth.
However, some mischievous elements prey upon the vulnerability of fans and dupe them of their hard-earned money using the name of The Rock. In 2018, in an Instagram post, The Great One warned his fans about such scammers. He said that fake Facebook pages in his name were asking people to send them money and in return promised them fresh cash and cars.

In his Instagram video, The Rock talked about such scammers and said, “These guys are real pieces of sh*t. There has been an extraordinary amount of people actually engaging with these people, and sending in money.”

Moreover, he emphasized that he knows the value of the hard-earned dollar and would never ask his fans for their money. The People’s Champion stated, “I’m the guy who was evicted at 15, as you guys know. By 23, I had seven bucks in my pocket. I value a hard-earned dollar and I would never ask you guys for money. Be vigilant, be smart, question it, report it.”

The Rock also assured the fans back then that he had the authorities working on the issue. Yet again, Dwayne Johnson was looking out for his fans and wanted them to steer clear of fraudulent social media accounts running in his name.

Such gestures reiterate why he enjoys a remarkable relationship with his fanbase and indeed why he is the People’s Champion.
