Shane McMahon returned to WWE on 3rd August and brought a new division called RAW Underground. The segment is unlike anything seen before on Raw. With a “no rope ring” and dim lights, Underground soon got the people talking.

The response is rather lukewarm. Most of the audience think that this is a weak attempt by WWE to grasp higher ratings. AEW and IMPACT are giving fierce competition to the company. Since desperate times call for desperate measures, WWE has introduced their version of “UFC/MMA meets Fight Club.”

On the other hand, some are hopeful that the tides might turn in WWE’s favor. The segment is fresh with innumerable possibilities.

Since there is no definite storyline, anything and everything can happen. For wrestlers, it’s a fantastic opportunity to jumpstart or reinvent their careers.

For fans, we can let our imaginations and theories take over. It’s fun to imagine what might happen next.

Before every show of RAW, there are some assumptions about who might appear. With the Underground’s brawler setting, there are some intense speculations that Brock Lesnar might make his WWE return on Underground.

Will Brock Lesnar return to WWE through Raw Underground?

The nine-time world champion has been out of the title picture since he got defeated by Drew McIntyre during Wrestlemania 36. However, Underground seems like a perfect opportunity to reintroduce Lesnar.

WWE dropped one of the biggest hints yet on this development.

After one match at Underground, one of the participants screamed, “Can you see me now?” twice, clearly hinting at Lesnar’s UFC win over Frank Mir. If we think about it, Lesnar’s return to Underground could be pivotal in his career because of the presence of Hurt Business.

The fast-rising stable, with MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin, took over Underground on the first episode. Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar has been years in the making, or maybe his opponent could be Shane McMohan himself.

There are endless possibilities, but one thing is for sure, Underground would be a natural habitat for Brock’s fighting style.

WWE has launched a very ambitious project. With some creativity and smart booking, it could bring back the fans as well as the ratings.
