WATCH: When “Stone Cold” Steve Austin dressed up as a Nurse to attack Vince McMahon

The Attitude Era was one of the best times to be a WWE fan. The segments, promos, matches, and Superstars were at their very best. The centers of this era were “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock, and Vince McMahon.

Stone Cold had been elevated to the status of a legend and was the main attraction for thousands of fans. His rebellious acts of sticking it to the boss earned him the appeal of thousands of fans who wished to oppose the hierarchy in their own lives.

“The Rattlesnake” often used his own quirky ways of attacking Vince McMahon and went to extreme lengths to do so. I would like to call it back on one segment on Raw when he dressed up as a Doctor to get to an injured McMahon in the hospital.

Vince McMahon had injured his ankle a week before that episode and was still in the hospital for some reason. Frustrated with the nurse, he kept demanding his release from the hospital.

He probably reached his breaking point when he was visited by Mick Foley who brought Mr.Socko with him. He was now determined to get out.

Later in the day, the nurse was testing him for a final time, and everything was normal, much to McMahon’s arrogant guesses. The nurse then asked the doctor for his final check-up, and a gruff voice replied, “Oh, I’ll take it from here Nurse.”

Stone Cold didn’t give Vince McMahon the chance to react

Vince McMahon realized that voice immediately but before he could move, Austin was on him, landing punch after punch on a helpless Mr. McMahon who cried for help. 

The Nurse ran out of the room, an Austin turned his attention to the injured leg of McMahon and began punching that as well. McMahon writhed in pain but he couldn’t even move! He just had to bare it.

If this wasn’t enough, Stone Cold smacked Vince McMahon in the head with a bedpan! This came off with a distinct “Clank!” that threw fans on the floor with laughter.

Stone Cold then picked up the defibrillator to his side and Vince McMahon could only wait for it all to be over. The sudden shock made McMahon instantly flip over and off the bed.

This segment is a perfect example of just how good the Attitude Era got. This one, in particular, was hilarious and still is funny to watch to this day. Imagine being Vince McMahon and the last thing you see before passing out is Stone Cold in a surgical outfit. Yikes!
