WATCH: Randy Orton RKOs Drew McIntyre, Punt Kicks Shawn Michaels

Two time WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels made his return to Monday Night RAW. This time, the showstopper was back for serious business and not fun and games with his D-Generation X boys.

After last week’s shocking incident with Randy Orton punting Ric Flair’s head out, HBK was in the building to address the situation.

In his promo, an emotional Michaels claimed Orton never respected the greats who paved the way. Orton was always full of himself and thought about his success.

HBK then promised that Orton would go down at SummerSlam either with a sweet chin music or a Claymore kick. As Michaels was leaving the ring, Orton would attack from behind.

The Legend Killer pulled the Hall of Famer back into the ring and struck with an RKO. Later, just like with the other legends, Orton punted the 55-year old’s head out.

Drew McIntyre would then march down and attack Orton. McIntyre threw Orton all over the crowd barricades and the arena.

The WWE champion would just wait for a few minutes to have a look at Shawn Michaels. The Viper in his typical style would sneak in from behind and attack McIntyre.

Shawn Michaels hints at a potential return at SummerSlam

In the first tweet mentioned above, Shawn Michaels sent a cryptic message to Randy Orton. To put it in his words to Orton, “You will see it coming.”

In recent times, WWE has used many legends like Christian, Ric Flair, and Big Show due to falling ratings.

With SummerSlam a few days away, WWE has done well in building up the rivalries of all matches on the match card. The WWE Thunderdome has definitely got fans excited.

HBK returning will also spike up the ratings. However, the message sent by Mr.WrestleMania has got the fans more excited. We all know Shawn Michaels since over two decades. When the Showstopper promises something, we know he will deliver.

WWE SummerSlam streams live on the WWE Network on August 23rd.
