Over the last couple of months, WWE Superstars have been actively announcing their participation in the Royal Rumble match, breaking the lottery tradition and random appearances that were the norm of the event.
Over the course of time, many Superstars have thrown in their swords. This leaves the question- How many slots are left? Does WWE plan on revealing anyone else?

17 Slots have been taken in the Men’s Royal Rumble
So far on Raw, Bobby Lashley, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, The Miz, Jeff Hardy, John Morrison, Edge, Mustafa Ali, and Sheamus have all confirmed their entry into the event from the Men’s Rumble.
Daniel Bryan, Otis, Jey Uso, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Dolph Ziggler and Big E are all Superstars that have done the same from SmackDown.
This creates a total of 17 after the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown. This means that there are 13 slots left which will all be surprise entrants. Fans expect the likes of John Cena, Brock Lesnar, or The Rock to appear in one of these numbers.

Furthermore, Chelsea and Liverpool club soccer legend Fernando Torres has been announced as an appearance for the Royal Rumble. ‘El Niño’ may fight, and is likely to take up a slot.
On the comeback episode of WWE Backstage, the 30th entrant of the Rumble will also be revealed. This will leave just 11 places to shock fans in the actual event.
18 slots remain vacant in the Women’s Royal Rumble
From the Woman’s Royal Rumble, Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, Alexa Bliss, and Shayna Baszler have announced their entry into the Rumble on behalf of the Raw roster.
From SmackDown, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Peyton Royce, Tamina, Liv Morgan, and Ruby Riott have thrown in their hats. This reaches a total of 12 entrants, leaving 18 places free for surprises.

We may just see some Hall of Famers enter, and fans expect the returns of Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey. NXT talents like Rhea Ripley and Shotzi Blackheart can also enter the high-profile contest.

Both Rumbles will be extremely entertaining, and we are undoubtedly going to get some big shockers. Whether it’s Brock Lesnar or Becky Lynch, the road to WrestleMania lies paved for the last person standing.
