Arsenal FC has made a name for itself when it comes to walking out using WWE theme music, and on the final day of the English Premier League 2020-21 season, the team did it again.
This time, the Gunners used John Cena’s famous ‘The Time Is Now’ theme, setting the stage for a climactic end to the season. The song was played at the start of the second half as the players made their way out of the tunnels. You can see the video for yourself in the tweet attached below.

Arsenal used a popular WWE theme song earlier this season as well when they walked out to Triple H’s ‘The Game’. There have been accounts of other such themes also playing and that inclines us to believe that the person in charge is a huge WWE fan.
The men in red had a perfect match against Brighton & Hove Albion on the final day of the season, whom they hosted at the Emirates Stadium in London. A brace from winger Nicolas Pépé was enough to secure a victory while rock hard defending from Rob Holding, Gabriel, and Callum Chambers ensured a clean sheet.
The win did not book a European slot for Arsenal
However, the win was a bitter-sweet one since it did nothing for their standing in the table at the end of the season. Despite the victory, the Gunners stayed at 8th place, losing out to rivals Tottenham Hotspurs due to the heroics of Gareth Bale against Leicester City on the other end.

Any hopes of a European spot have been crushed for Arsenal, and the next season opens up a lot of scope for improvement. Handy transfers can also be made, although it will be hard to convince players to join without securing European places.
John Cena may be close to a WWE return
Pulling it back to John Cena himself, the 16-time World Champion has expressed his desire to return to WWE after missing out on 2 years of action due to his film commitments. ‘The Cenator’ seems ready for a return and WWE could be pulling his strings to have him back when live shows resume on July 15th this year.

Undoubtedly, the biggest name in the business, it would be great to see John Cena back between the ropes, and that all-time World Championship record lies waiting for him to take.
