Daniel Bryan may have had some of the most memorable moments in WWE, being the founder of one of the most popular crowd chants and making a memorable return from what should have been a career-ending injury.

Despite his many accomplishments, there are certain moments Bryan would want to forget for good. The biggest of these would be his match against Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII.

As World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan had climbed a high horse and was overconfident. He had it all and had his head stuck so high in the clouds that he couldn’t see anymore.

When the bell rang to kick off WrestleMania, Bryan opted for a show-off move and went on to kiss his then storyline girlfriend AJ Lee, which was justified as a sign of good luck.

However, this soon turned out to be the final nail in his coffin as Sheamus blindsided him with a thumping Brogue Kick. This finisher put Bryan out for good and Sheamus quickly pinned him to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

This is by far the quickest World Championship title switch at the event, a feat which had never and may never be repeated. Daniel Bryan learned the exact reason why you must never turn your back on ‘The Celtic Warrior’ that day.

Sheamus has not tasted a victory lately on WWE Raw

Sheamus has been known for his ability to brutalize opponents in the ring and does not wait for the perfect moment to strike. If he sees an opening, he takes it and has impeccable timings to execute those strikes.

The former WWE Champion hasn’t had a victorious run so far on Raw and is still finding his bearings. He has, however, given us some of the best matches over the past few months, reinventing himself as a single competitor in the process.

Although Sheamus defeated Daniel Bryan in mere seconds, this is surprisingly not the fastest victory at WrestleMania. That record is held by The Rock when he beat Eric Rowan at WrestleMania 32 in just 6 seconds!
