Seth Rollins recently made his return to WWE on Friday Night SmackDown and seems to have finally moved on from his past feud with the Mysterios. However, it looks like he will have to wait before heading into his next storyline.
Elimination Chamber will take place on Sunday, and the match card has been released, but ‘The Friday Night Messiah’ is nowhere to be seen. The card will go on as it is with minor changes that may be made, but it seems like Rollins will have to sit this one out.

Although he won’t be in any of the official matches, he can appear at the event nonetheless. After losing his feud with Rey Mysterio, Rollins has kick-started a feud with Cesaro which has been put on hold for the PPV.
Cesaro competes in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match which decides the #1 contender to face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. He will give his best to claim that spot.
Seth Rollins may play a role leading to Cesaro’s elimination if he decides to interfere. This will not only make Cesaro lose but also heat things up more between the two.
Furthermore, a roll-up pin or the like would mean that ‘The Swiss Superman’ leaves with his character image intact.
The segue for Rollins to enter is set, but what about WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E?

Given the fact that Apollo Crews won’t be fighting at the event either, we can expect Big E not to show up at Elimination Chamber. We can, however, expect him to continue on SmackDown, doing what he always does best.
