WWE Raw Legends Night was a memorable show for many, but two men walked out of the place fuming. They were none other than Bobby Lashley and his manager MVP.

The two were extremely confident going into the ring as Lashley was booked to fight the ‘Bro’ Matt Riddle. The behemoth had dominantly won his previous matches, decimating Jeff Hardy last week.

As the match began, it looked as if the same was going to happen to Riddle. Recuperating from an early onslaught from his opponent, Lashley bounced back and began manhandling Riddle.

Just as he was about to finish Riddle, the latter found some final strength to fight back. However, all this went to vain when ‘The All-Mighty’ locked Riddle in the Full Nelson, his famous submission hold that has put out many Superstars.

Riddle eventually tapped, but the official did not ring the bell! MVP and Lashley immediately began arguing with the referee, but he claimed that he did not see the tap himself and therefore, it didn’t count.

In the heat of the argument, Riddle capitalized and rolled up Lashley for the pin. The shock victory infuriated both Lashley and MVP who immediately went to blast the official.

Riddle escaped with a narrow victory, but we doubt this is the last he’ll be seeing of The Hurt Business. Bobby Lashley never forgets, and he will probably finish the business next week on Raw.

Riddle and Bobby Lashley have big plans in store for them in WWE

The ‘Bro’ has been praised all around for his performances inside and outside the ring. His character selling in promos has appreciated by fans and even received praise from WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.

Reports suggest that Vince McMahon sees a young Shawn Michaels in Riddle and has plans to give him a big push. Lashley, on the other hand, has been the powerhouse he is meant to be, and the match was a win-win for both stars.

We will surely be seeing a lot more of both as Raw continues.
