With the pandemic seemingly continuing on its warpath, WWE continues to be in danger of outbreaks within its Performance Center and ThunderDome. While the company has been successful in curbing a lot of the misfortune, it may not be out of the water yet.

According to a recent report on Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE COO and former Superstar Paul Levesque, or as fans better know him- Triple H, is in quarantine and is currently in isolation.

This was understood after Levesque could not be seen on Raw or NXT shows throughout the week. We are unsure of whether ‘The Game’ has contracted the virus, and it was noted that “his situation is being kept secretive”.

The report did not specifically assume the worst. All we know for now is that Triple H is on a timeout and that Shawn Michaels and Brian James ran NXT on Wednesday. There has been no update from him or his wife Stephanie McMahon about his situation or status yet.

WWE had other names absent during the NXT show this week

WWE NXT had another outbreak this past week, and WrestleZone on Mandatory reports that apart from Triple H, other names were also not present for the weekly show on Wednesday Night.

The names are as follows: Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Pete Dunne, Timothy Thatcher, Leon Ruff, Carter Nash, Alexander Wolfe, James Drake, Wes Lee, Zack Gibson, Isaiah Scott, Drake Wuertz (referee).

WWE has maintained its strict restrictions for safety protocols backstage. No employee has been allowed to enter the premises without wearing a mask and undergoing a temperature check. Employees are also regularly tested, and this has kept things safe.

Outbreaks like these are only natural although the company will be devastated if Triple H has contracted something. Although, it may be just a safety protocol and it is a huge possibility that everything is fine.

With the neck-to-neck competition with AEW still raging, WWE cannot afford to lose key players such as Johnny Gargano even for a week due to their vitality to the storylines. Triple H’s absence on NXT shouldn’t be taken for the worse, and as of now, there are no updates concerning the same.
