WWE fans love seeing Asuka at the commentary desk. Her quirky personality makes the commentary table more exciting than the match itself. While she may not be behind the table anytime soon, it has been confirmed that her best friend Kairi Sane will be doing the job!

In a recent post on Twitter, WWE Japan shared a video in which Kairi Sane herself confirmed that she will in fact be at the commentary desk for Hell in a Cell.

According to Sportskeeda, Kairi Sane basically said that she will indeed be making a return to WWE at Hell in a Cell. This will be her first appearance in main WWE events since her departure from the company a few months ago. Kairi left the company to head back to her homeland in Japan to be with her husband and family.

Kairi Sane is the perfect example of an NXT success story. After shaking the roster back at the black and gold brand, she was pushed to the main roster where she made several appearances.

Her unique gimmick of the pirate and voyager soon caught on with the crowd. Kairi was known to sport the most aesthetically pleasing entrance dressings, that dazzled with different colours and designs.

Kairi Sane may exact revenge on Bayley at Hell in a Cell

Her run in the main roster was not as memorable as her dominance in NXT. She didn’t get the push she deserved and should have made it to at least one reign as Raw or SmackDown Women’s Champion.

She developed along with Asuka, who fought with her as a Tag Team for a short while. The duo was known as the Kabuki Warriors, and the two went on to win the Women’s Tag Team Champions. They were known for their infamous green mist that Asuka continues to use today.

Kairi’s last appearance in WWE came when she was attacked by Bayley backstage. This was during the Asuka vs Sasha Banks and Bayley feud. Back then, Bayley and Banks were still best friends and were about to reach their peaks.

There’s no ruling out that Kairi will indeed get involved in the Banks-Bayley fight at Hell in a Cell. Karma may come around full circle for the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Either way, we are glad to see Kairi Sane back for the event as her voyage leads her back to the WWE ring for now.
