WWE superstar John Cena has inspired young kids, teenagers, and adults across the globe. He is arguably the best in-ring performer in the pro-wrestling business. Many upcoming talents look up to him for his guidance.

One such wrestler is an upcoming superstar in NXT named Austin Theory. He made his television debut in January last year where he defeated Joaquin Wilde on an episode of NXT.

Austin Theory says John Cena helped him through some dark days

Theory took to Twitter and shared his regard and respect for the 16-time world champion. He said that Cena had been his inspiration not just inside the squared circle but also in his personal life.

“@JohnCena has always been my inspiration not just in wrestling but in real life. I modeled my life at a very young age on what I seen him present on TV. Watching him was always my escape when things weren’t going so good in my life. He is without a doubt a true role model.”

This is not the first time when a superstar looked up to the leader of Cenation. John Cena has a mass following, not just for his in-ring action, but his off-stage behavior as well. Moreover, he is popular for his meets and greets.

Cena is looking to break Ric Flair’s record

Ric Flair currently is tied with John Cena with 16 championship reigns, Cena made his triumphant return at Money in the Bank this year to challenge Roman Reigns for his Universal Championship.

Currently, WWE is planning to make this match happen at their second-biggest PPV at SummerSlam this year. This time, Cena is not getting a polarized reaction from the crowd as WWE portrays him as the ultimate babyface against a heel Roman.
