“John and I Will Be Tied Forever”- Nikki Bella on Her Relationship With John Cena

John Cena sent the WWE Universe in a rush a few weeks ago after news of his marriage got out. The 16-time WWE World Champion took the big oath with partner Shay Shariatzadeh earlier. This was months after the two announced their engagement. 

While there was a lot of buzz around the wedding photos, a lot of eyes turned towards Nikki Bella, who is Cena’s ex-girlfriend. The two had been together for 6 years and were even engaged to marry. Unfortunately, a shocking impasse saw them part ways.

In a recent interview with US Weekly, the former WWE Divas Champion spoke about how her current relationship with John Cena.

“John and I will be tied forever … All I’ve ever wanted was for him to be happy,” said Nikki. 

“So with the baby, he reached out to Brie and I both. We haven’t had an individual conversation in gosh, I don’t know how long, but it was very short and sweet!” she admitted.

Nikki Bella is now happily married to Artem Chigvintsev, who was also her dance partner from Dancing with the Stars.

Nikki Bella did not want to force John Cena into a decision

John Cena and Nikki Bella broke up over an issue with having children. Cena was willing to have his vasectomy reversed for Nikki, but the latter decided that it was better to part ways rather than forcing her fiancé into it.

Cena did address the WWE Universe that gave him a resounding backing on the entire thing. Even though many believe that the breakup was a bad one, Nikki and Cena don’t share much bad blood towards each other.

Although there haven’t been any wedding photographs released yet, we do have a video of Cena and Shariatzadeh celebrating outside the courthouse.

As far as Cena and Nikki Bella are concerned, the two have happily gone their own way. It’s safe to say that that chapter of their lives is closed.
