Booker T managed to make it to the headlines yet again for his appearance in Bad Bunny’s music video of the song ‘Booker T’. The rap artist had Booker feature in several parts of his video.
Unsurprisingly, this is not the only crossover between Booker and the rap world. Few may recall his short tussle with famous rapper LL Cool J as part of an APA promo on Raw back in the 2000s.

The Hall of Famer has a distinct memory of the meeting, and he recalls a major part of it. In a recent interview on the Hall of Famer Podcast, Booker T revealed what it was like meeting the rapper.
“I remember calling him out it then he stood up and I could see how big he was. By that, just that, I could tell he was from the neighborhood as well,” said Booker. “That’s just so you know just GP just the smell of things. You know if somebody going to get in the fight, it did seem like he didn’t mind it too much, you know what I mean?”

Booker T enjoyed the experience as a whole
The WWE legend had nothing but praise for LL Cool J and explained how the entire thing was a great experience for him as a wrestler and a person.
“It was crazy actually, it was kind of nuts. We got along very very well. I don’t think we got into it or anything like that when I rolled up on him and maybe because he knew he was going to have a good outline like he’s going to get back at me, but it was cool man for me then again- I’m on the set with LL Cool J, doing a vignette, I mean come on. Come on. Come on. You gotta be kidding me, right? So that’s the way I look at stuff like that, but it was cool man. It was really really cool,” said Booker.
