“It Sounds Like a Porn Star’s Name!”-Sasha Banks Reveals Mother’s Hilarious Reaction to Her WWE Name

Sasha Banks is one of the biggest names in WWE today and is one of the most successful female athletes of her generation. Currently, she is the most decorated star in the WWE Women’s division and has won every title she can win under the age of 30.

Apart from being a Grand Slam Champion, Banks has a unique gimmick that comes with her name. As one built around money, ‘The Boss’ is extremely charismatic in the way she delivers the character. 

Unfortunately, her mother wasn’t as big a fan of the name ‘Sasha Banks’ as we are and immediately objected to it. In her recent appearance on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, she revealed her mother’s reaction to hearing her WWE name for the first time.

As you can see above, Banks’ mother actually thought the name sounded like that of a porn star’s and immediately asked her to change it. This never happened, and now that name is certainly in the cards for a future Hall of Fame seat. 

Sasha Banks is the epitome of success in WWE. She hit the highest point in her career so far in 2020, when she won all Championships in the WWE Women’s Division in under a year. 

She has also won the NXT Women’s Championship and is short of only the WWE NXT UK Women’s Championship to say that she has won it all. However, since she technically did move up from the NXT division in the USA, she has won it all.

Few Superstars can actually rival Sasha Banks as the best

The only Superstar that really can be considered ahead of Sasha Banks right now is Charlotte Flair, who won every title as well, and was also WWE Divas Champion before the belt was discontinued. 

This means that Flair forever has the achievement of being Divas Champion, a feat which will never again be repeated. Another close competitor is Becky Lynch, who won both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships and is the first and only single Champion for both brands. 

At the young age of 27, Sasha Banks aims to win it all over and over again. She has time and power on her side and is miles ahead of the rest for her age.
