Bayley may not have the SmackDown Women’s Championship anymore, but she sure does have the attitude that came with it. ‘The Golden Role Model’ has continued her heel run on SmackDown, even though she has achieved only limited success in 2021.
However, Bayley still likes the bad side and recently took a shot at former WWE Superstar Kairi Sane. In a recent post on Twitter, the Superstar claimed that she ‘retired’ Kairi.

Looking back at July last year, Kairi Sane announced that she would be leaving WWE after two years of success in the company. Being one of NXT’s best graduates, Kairi lit the Women’s division up with her aesthetic look and gimmick.
Her last match was against Bayley, whom she managed to beat! Kairi caught the then SmackDown Women’s Champion in a roll-up pin to ensure her victory.
Bayley, with her then friend Sasha Banks, was shocked and decided to exact revenge. She went on to ambush Kairi backstage to bait in Asuka, who was in the midst of defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Sasha.
Asuka rushed to help her friend as Bayley fled the scene. This would be Kairi’s last appearance in WWE before a teary farewell. She is now with her husband and family in Japan, where she plans on helping WWE recruit talent.
Asuka regained her title from Sasha Banks the following week in what would be the first step in the massive implosion of the Bayley-Banks partnership.

Bayley has not had a change of luck in 2021
Bayley lost her fight against Bianca Belair on SmackDown and clings on to what little remains of her glory from last year. She has fallen from the skies and realizes that the losses are mounting.
Kairi Sane was an NXT prodigy, and Quincy made an impact in the brand. Her three-year long career in WWE saw her rise to the top. Unfortunately, she could never clinch the Women’s Championships of the main roster but managed to strike up a great partnership with Asuka.
